Intro to AP Biology Prezi Principles of Life TEXTBOOK free resources--by chapter. Lots of animations, activities and flashcards. College Board Website--to find out more about AP Biology from the College Board perspective. Why take AP?? Course & Exam Overview--published by the college board--a brief overview of both the course and the exam. Sample questions are included. Curriculum Framework--this is the published, College Board created document that tells what students in AP Biology should know and be able to do after taking AP Biology in high school. It is a concise, relatively clear map of what we will be learning in class this year. College Board & University/College Credit Policies--use this search engine at the college board website to determine credit policies for universities or colleges that you would like to attend. For example, UVM does award both credit AND placement into higher level courses with a score of 4 or 5 on the AP Biology exam. Article about AP Couses & Achievement (historical perspective) Mount Abe Lab Safety Contract--all students are expected to conduct themselves safely and appropriately when working "in the lab" or with lab equipment or supplies. All students and his/her parent/guardian must sign this document acknowledging that he/she has read and understands our safety policies. Study Skills--HELPFUL website for learning college level study skills Online Textbook--this is an alternate textbook to your "Principles of Life" book. Create your own practice test--this resource is connected to a different textbook, so the chapter numbers are not the same as your textbook.
